Red Bull's Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey is set to resign in the first quarter of 2025, according to a team statement.

Red Bull is facing internal disputes and an investigation into team principal Christian Horner over allegations of inappropriate workplace behavior.

Newey, a renowned F1 designer, has won seven titles and 101 poles, including the STR 2008 pole and victory, joining Red Bull in 2006.

Newey, who had considered leaving Red Bull, was convinced by Horner to stay on a contract until the end of 2025.

"Ever since I was a young boy, I wanted to be a designer of fast cars," Newey stated. "I've been fortunate enough to realize my ambition of working as a Formula 1 engineer.

Newey will remain with Red Bull Technology Group until Q1 2025, but his next move has not been confirmed.
